Topic-Talk Walks (TTWalks) is a Meetup.com free walking conversation group based in Denver, Colorado in the United States.

"Creativity, innovation and transformation

are all merely side effects of

our desires and abilities

to empathize, and

to connect."

Above is quote from a YouTube video by Seung Chan Lim - "Realizing Empathy”

When connect ing with compassion,  our empathy lifts us beyond our  FEAR S!

Topic-Talk Walks sponsored a YouTube video of a humorous improvised story titled
“Elmer Speaks Up!”   This story was co-created from a collaborative TTWalks event on October 6, 2013, at the Pumpkin Harvest Festival in Denver, Colorado’s Four Mile Historic Park.  Like the scarecrow in “The Wiz” played by Michael Jackson, Elmer and his friends were lifted above their FEAR S, and ended up connecting the lives of scarecrows and humans along a fun-filled path of discovering “What’s Possible?”

Connecting with people and topics we love creates experiences of the many miracles of what’s possible through an “Economics of Compassion.”

Fran Rew and Richard Rew co-founded this group in 2008, posting and hosting walks primarily in urban parks in the Denver metro area.  Members are encouraged to post and host their own walking conversations.

In 2013, thanks to TTWalks' member and Assistant Organizer Winston Walker, TTWalks took on a wonderful new look on our calendar of events.  Winston, who is also the founder of the Beckwourth Doers Meetup group, posts and hosts collaborative adventurous and exciting walking conversation events frequently beyond the Denver metro area.

Also, in 2013, TTWalks began a collaborative In-Kind Sponsorship to support DANCE WALKING as a collaborative part of some of TTWalks’ calendar events, including TTWalks’ annual celebration on the 3rd Monday morning of January to celebrate our favorite examples of an Economics of Compassion in Denver’s Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Marade.

2013 also marked the beginning of TTWalks’ in-kind sponsorship of DANCE WALKING as a collaborative part of some of TTWalks’ calendar events, including TTWalks’ annual celebration of their favorite examples of an Economics of Compassion in Denver’s Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Marade

WHAT’S DANCE WALKING?  Ben Aaron, NBC television’s Emmy award winning feature reporter and comedian took the lead for inspiring dance walking when he took to the streets of Manhattan and dance walked with total strangers. Then SoulPancake’s Street Team posted a DanceWalk street crossing YouTube video.

When TTWalks added these video inspirations to the TEDx video inspiration of the national founder of the Better Block revitalization events, Jason Roberts, we created a new possibility of ...Dance Walking in the Better Block Five Points event in Denver, Colorado, on Saturday, May 11, 2013.

When each of us explores “What’s Possible?” together, our creativity is sparked.  Seung Chan Lim said on a his YouTube video titled “Realizing Empathy” that “Creativity, innovation and transformation are all merely side effects of our desires and abilities to empathize, and to connect.”
